Day of the Dead – Long Hobo
This new shape was designed to fit a wine bottle as per my client's request. Sugar skulls, Human skulls and broken hearts for the notorious Villainy Loveless.
Anatomical Heart Symbolism: The center of the physical and spiritual being. Represents long lasting love even through hardship. Known as the seat of emotions, guided by feeling as opposed to reason.
Skull symbolism: Represents death and mortality. An acceptance of the end and a reminder to use the time wisely.
Sugar Skulls Symbolism: Mexican folk art that represents departed souls, placed on the gravestone to honour their return on all souls day. A celebration of past life.
Rose Symbolism: A powerful symbol of passion. It is associated with Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty and love, who is often portrayed with a crown of roses on her head. Also a symbol of balance and new beginnings. It is contrasted by thorns symbolizing defence and loss.
Diamond Symbolism: Abundance, strength, power and purity. A symbol of the richness of the self believed to fill negative spaces within with the purity of love. The hardest mineral of all with the ability to separate white light into fire; the sparkling spectrum.
The Long Hobo comes with a detachable strap with a heavy-duty brass clip. Hand carved, tooled, dyed and assembled in Vancouver, BC by Joren Eulalee. This bag is made to age; crafted with a hand selected leather hide and brass hardware.
