Death-Head Rising Chrysalis
Death-Head Rising Collection: 01 | 19 – Chrysalis
The Lunar Cycle, Death's-Head Hawkmoth and Poppies come together to cover this pouch, creating a piece that celebrates darkness and renewal.
The Chrysalis, 2.75" [7cm] x 2.75" [7cm] with strap 29" [74cm]. My take on the medicine bag, this tiny pouch is for your sacred things. Here you can keep what resonates with you: crystals, herbs, locks of hair, affirmations, dreams and prayers. The contents of your Chrysalis are your personal talismans. Hand carved, tooled, dyed and assembled in Vancouver, BC by Joren Eulalee. This pouch is made to age; crafted with a hand selected leather hide and brass hardware.
The Illustrations: Poppies are symbols for sleep, peace, and death. Poppies are used as offerings to the dead and remembrance for those who have died in war. The Death's-Head Hawkmoth sacred and powerful creatures, represent the afterlife. They can bring messages from our ancestors of protection and love. A symbol of the spirit because of their eternal pursuit of the moonlight. The moon cycle depicts the passage of time and the final element are jewels, like morning dew, the abundance of the natural world.
